SINK #1 in Shops Today! UK/INT Packages Shipping!

Hey, SINKers! 

SINK #1 hits the direct market TODAY, and the buzz is solid!

Many of the comic collector boards and sites are talking up this indie title, and we're hearing the book is moving well at Mid-town comics and finer establishments around the globe...

In fact, Diamond has already sold through of their entire stock, and we expect a re-order coming soon.

I also got confirmation from my fulfillment contact that the remaining UK books have started shipping to backers.  Once they have all shipped, I'm expecting tracking #s, and will send those your way as soon as I have them.  

But, fingers crossed, your books will arrive later this week or early next week!

SINK Check In - Direct Market Release of SINK #1 Coming Up!

Hey there! 

Tyler James from ComixTribe back with another SINK update. 

First, the direct market release of SINK #1 is scheduled for this coming Wednesday at finer comic shops around the universe. 

Should be fun... this was the most ordered ComixTribe title yet, and the buzz created by all of you "in the van" was a big part of it! So thanks!

Now, for our patient backers in the U.K. and a few other international locales, here's the latest...

Books and rewards were shipped from the printer in Taiwan to a U.K. based fulfillment warehouse last week. 

I've been pestering my contact for status updates every day this week. The latest word is that the books were held up for a few days in the U.K. customs (oh, the joys of international commerce.) 

That issue appears to have been cleared up and the warehouse now has the product and can begin shipping.

I will keep up with my daily pestering of my contact for updates on shipping until every backer has their rewards.

Again, I am extremely sorry that this has taken as long as it has. 

I made these fulfillment decisions originally to let us offer lower international shipping to our backers, but due to the many issues we've had, we'll not go this route again in the future.  

All that said, we again want to thank you for helping SINK continue to make noise in a crowded comic book market, and we know SINK #1 and the rest of the series will be well worth the wait.

Shipping Issues? Let us know!

In order to let the team focus on what we do best (making more great SINK comics) and to let us offer low shipping rates in the U.S. and UK, we opted to work with a fulfillment partner with warehouses in both countries to handle packing and shipping of SINK rewards. 

The benefits of this were faster delivery and lower cost shipping costs for backers.

Unfortunately, we've had a couple backers contact us about their books getting damaged in the mail while in transit.

We're hoping this only affects a small number of you, but please don't hesitate to let us know if there's an issue with your order. 

Just shoot a quick email to [email protected] with a description of the issue and/or a pic, and we'll make it right.   

SINK #1 is Shipping to Backers! In Stores Soon!

Hey, there!

We just wanted to give you guys a quick update letting you know that we've started shipping SINK #1 packages to all backers!

The SINK team has been hard at work on production on the series itself, with Alex recently wrapping up hard-hitting line art on issue #3. 

This one rocks, my friends. 

While the team has been working on the book, our printer and fulfillment partner has been busy printing the books, assembling the welcome kits, distributing to two different fulfillment warehouses (one in Chicago and one in the UK, which is how we were able to offer low UK shipping rates) and packing and shipping to all of you. 

We don't have tracking #s for all packages yet, but we're told all orders should be out the door this week. 

The Exceptions...

If you're getting SINK #1 Artist Edition sketch covers from Alex Cormack, those will ship separately. 

We still need to get those books into Alex's hands so he can draw them for you, and he'll be working on those over the next couple of months. 

We can assure you, though... Alex will make them worth the wait.

We've been able to get hundreds of shops to confirm they'll be stocking SINK... but we can't take any shops for granted. 

And while our orders for SINK #1 will come in any day now... a lot of times a book can be made on its re-orders... so sharing with your LCS is a HUGE help.
